Freesat is a challenger brand, offering consumers an alternative to satellite TV without the monthly subscription. Aiming squarely at ‘Sky wobblers’, I gave them a new ‘rallying cry’ positioning for their retail channel with a lead campaign line of ‘Break free from monthly bills’. A suite of customer comms to convey the benefits of switching included a leaflet, a set of ‘belly bands’ to go around the product and stickers on TVs, all written in the brand’s inimitable, bold tone of voice.
